Following a long career as an English teacher and lecturer in Education, Julie McFarland now works as a museum registrar. In recent years, she has reignited her passion for singing, performing with the Sydney Community College Choir and as a regular guest artist with Sydney inner west band, The Freeekz and Tasmanian duo, Jupiter Two. She has enjoyed connecting to her Irish heritage by contributing to many Irish themed events as an interviewer, reader, and vocalist.
